Silcock Leedham have been appointed to provide the consultancy design services to the new build and remodel development at Temple Moor School. The school is part of the Building Schools for Future initiative and will provide 21st Century learning facilities for the specialist Science school. Not only are SL carrying out all mechanical and electrical design services we are also providing thermal modelling to ensure compliance with BB101 and compiling the Part L compliance calculations and documentation. The development which will have a construction value of in excess of £15m requires the school to be fully occupational throughout, leaving some interesting servicing challenges for maintaining existing and supplying new.
