Silcock Leedham LLP were appointed by Roberts Food Group as their consulting engineers for their new £5m production facility in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The new factory is designed to produce Yorkshire puddings for the volume retail market and the production facility is ‘geared’ to produce 94,000 units per hour at full capacity.
As well as the general Mechanical and Electrical engineering services, we were responsible for the design and co-ordination of the process engineering services including pressurised batter and edible oil mains all to comply with the requirements of the food hygiene regulations.
