Work Completes on Cumbria's Museum of Military Life

Cumbria’s Museum of Military Life has re-opened in its new location in the Alma Block in Carlisle Castle. Built in 1932 in the Regency style, and one of the former Regimental Depot buildings, Alma is over twice the size of Queen Mary’s Tower.

Phase 1 of the re-opening allows visitors to see a preview of the exhibit with a full opening planned for the 14th October.

Silcock Leedham was part of the Swarbrick Associates team appointed to provide full M & E Design services on this challenging project which included heating, ventilation, lighting, power and data.  Our co-ordinated approach in conjunction with the exhibition designers proved really successful, ensuring harmonious delivery of the project.
