As registered engineers and specialists with UNESCO we have been appointed for the redevelopment and reinstatement of the National Museum of Sudan in Khartoum. The Museum was constructed on the early 1960’s, but has been neglected for the last 25 years, consequently the collections contained within the museum are also suffering from the poorly maintained environmental conditions. We have carried out extensive research into the most appropriate method of maintaining adequate internal conservation conditions and implementing a package of works to up grade the museum services.
