Client Requirements

The client, Fortress Investments, was looking to create a high tech trading and investment offices with real-time communication between London and New York.  A high specification data centre was required in both offices with external Sun Systems disaster recovery.  Office spaces were based on high density dealers accommodation with high specification environment and secure high speed data networks

Silcock Leedham's Contribution

Silcock Leedham was appointed as M&E engineers and IT specialists / project managers which involved working between London and New York and complying with international banking requirements and local codes and building regulations.  We were also appointed to carry out detailed Mechanical and Electrical design duties and to liaise with the local authorities and statutory utilities.

Added Value / Unique Selling Point

We quickly adapted to the very fast moving environment of international banking and worked closely and seamlessly with the client team to meet very tight deadlines.  As well as being excellent engineers, we adopted a technical project management and facilitators role to integrate design information from a large number of sources, including specialist furniture suppliers and data managers.
