This development consists of not only a major commercial development and infrastructure scheme but is also becoming a ground breaking scheme for employing energy efficiency, water management and sustainable techniques in Saudi Arabia. The site is based over a square mile and will have district heating and cooling as well as a central electrical generation plant (20MW). The development will also employ some of the latest innovative water saving and reclaim techniques.
